Use of this insulation product is becoming more widespread in various refineries and chemical plants. A substantially reduced insulation thickness profile is obtainable with this product (compared to conventional cal-sil, fiberglass, mineral wool, or perlite insulations), resulting in the ability to insulate closely spaced lines in existing racks or minimize the width of new racks. It is also simple to install.
